The Yoshimura RS-5 Full System is a popular aftermarket exhaust designed specifically for Honda CBR600RR models from 2009 to 2026. Its distinctive trapezoidal sleeve shape is intended to visually complement the aggressive lines of modern sportbikes, particularly those with under-tail muffler configurations. Constructed with a durable stainless steel header and tail-pipe, the RS-5 system incorporates a straight baffle design to ensure ample flow, and is finished with a stylish carbon fiber cone-endcap. This "RACE SERIES" exhaust system is engineered and intended for closed-course competition use only. It is explicitly stated that the product is not designed or intended for use on public roads or land, and such use is prohibited by Federal and State regulations. The product is also declared a "MODIFIED PART" by the manufacturer for emissions compliance and is not CARB/EPA tail-pipe emissions compliant, nor is it street legal. Installation is described as relatively smooth with the included instructions, though some customers have noted it can take a couple of hours. Compatibility and performance may also vary for international markets, as this product was designed and tested for the U.S. marketplace only. The manufacturer offers repair services and a 1-year warranty.
