The Mikuni RS34-D21-K is a 34mm radial flat slide carburetor assembly designed for high-performance four-cylinder motorcycles. Its smoothbore induction tract and flat slide design enhance airflow to help deliver increased engine power.

This unit features an adjustable accelerator pump system for immediate throttle response, particularly at lower RPMs. It is 25 percent lighter than standard performance carburetors and uses widely available Mikuni jets.

The Mikuni RS34-D21-K carburetor assembly is engineered to meet the fuel metering and high-flow demands of highly modified race engines, including road and drag racing applications. By utilizing a smoothbore induction tract and a radial flat slide throttle valve, the system provides a strong signal for precise, instantaneous throttle response. Technical features include an adjustable accelerator pump system that allows for refined tuning of fuel delivery at lower RPMs. The assembly is built to be 25 percent lighter than other performance-oriented carburetors, providing a compact footprint that is compatible with standard Mikuni jetting components. This carburetor assembly is specifically intended for in-line four-cylinder performance engines. It requires the use of specific carburetor holders for proper installation. The assembly includes a starter system for cold engine starting, an idle adjustment screw, and adjustable throttle return spring tension for custom configuration. It is designed to fit a wide range of Kawasaki models, including the 1973-1975 Z1, 1976-1977 KZ900, 1977-1980 KZ1000 early models, and 1981-2005 KZ1000 J-engine variants (including police models).
