Overview

The Tarett Engineering RSR Style Swaybar and Drop Link Kit is a performance front suspension upgrade for vintage 1965-1989 Porsche 911, 912, 930, and 914 models. It features a lightweight hollow 4130 chrome moly bar paired with 6061-T6 aluminum arms and robust Teflon-lined rod ends.

The 22mm diameter bar offers stiffness equivalent to a solid 22mm bar while providing increased adjustability over the original factory design. All aluminum components are hard-anodized gray for corrosion resistance and a period-correct aesthetic.

The kit includes a 1.00-inch OD hollow 4130 chrome moly swaybar and precision-machined 6061-T6 aluminum arms, finished in hard-anodized gray. The included drop links utilize oversized, robust Teflon-lined rod ends for improved durability and suspension feedback. This swaybar kit offers enhanced adjustability compared to the classic RSR design, allowing for fine-tuning of the vehicle's handling balance. The 22mm hollow tube design provides the stiffness of a solid 22mm bar while reducing unsprung weight for improved suspension response. Please note specific installation requirements for this kit: all 1974-1989 911 front swaybar applications require conversion to a through-chassis design, which necessitates the use of additional nut plate and u-bracket adaptors. Professional installation or experience with vintage chassis modification is recommended to ensure correct fitment and structural alignment.
