RT9119 Racing Seat

The Racetech RT9119 racing seat is engineered for high-performance driving, offering advanced protection and a lightweight design. Built using a precise combination of carbon and Kevlar hybrid weave, its shell weighs as little as 9.9 lbs (4.5 kg), making it a favorite among professional race teams at national and international levels. This racing seat features an ergonomic form with an integrated head restraint and is designed for compatibility with up to a 6-point harness system. It includes large harness guides for easy strap routing and integrated air ducting that is vented to the driver's lower back, enhancing comfort during extended use. The seat also comes with anti-abrasion patches made of black perforated leather for durability. The Racetech RT9119 is available in four shell sizes: Standard (HRW), Wide (WHR), Tall (THR), and Wide & Tall (WTHR). It can be further personalized with optional low-profile base cushions or side cushions for enhanced thigh support. The seat cover is made of black fire-retardant fabric, and the shell features a clear gel-coat finish. Crucially, the RT9119 series seats, with the exception of the WHR model, comply with FIA 8855-1999 standards. To meet this FIA compliance, the seat *must* be back-mounted to the vehicle's roll cage at shoulder level. This back-mounting enhances seat strength, stability during impacts, and improves driver feel while reducing fatigue. Installation can be facilitated with Racetech's side-mount brackets (RTB1009M) or back-mount components (RTB3115B/RTB2115B and RTB2005C clamps), with various rollcage clamp diameters available to suit different vehicle setups.
