These mounts improve power transfer and responsiveness while increasing durability under extreme conditions. They are constructed with rubber and metal backing plates, offering factory quality and fitment with significantly increased rubber durometer compared to standard parts.

STI Group N engine mounts are hardened performance upgrades originally developed for Group N rally use. They utilize harder rubber compounds to significantly reduce driveline movement and torque reactions, leading to improved power transfer and responsiveness. These mounts are built for increased durability under extreme operating conditions, addressing issues like driveline flex during hard launches or general rubber deterioration over time. The construction features rubber with metal backing plates for mounting to the engine. For non-turbo applications, the rubber portion can be used, but the original backing plates from the vehicle are required for proper alignment with the crossmember. If replacing factory hydraulic engine mounts, two M10 x 1.25 flanged nuts will be needed per side. Identical in appearance to factory parts and manufactured by Subaru suppliers, these mounts offer factory quality and fitment with a much stiffer rubber durometer compared to standard parts. However, like most uprated mounts, expect an increase in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), making the vehicle less comfortable for daily driving. These mounts are compatible with a wide range of Subaru models, including various EJ and FA20F engine configurations. Specific fitment notes include EJ253/EJ251/EJ204 engines requiring the use of original engine mount brackets, and the FA20F Forester XT MT MY14-18 and FA20F WRX also requiring specific bracket usage.
