The 696 PLUS REMOTE HEAD Intercom offers all the features of Rugged Radios' best-selling 696 Plus in a compact package that fits into standard rocker switch holes. It provides high-fidelity Bluetooth audio for music and phone calls, and can be controlled via the rocker switch interface for total cell phone and music control (play, pause, skip tracks, answer/hang up calls). The intercom allows passengers to talk without yelling through helmet kits or headsets, with auto music-dimming during conversation. It's expandable for 2-5 passengers and features a 3.5mm audio output for sound system integration and in-car audio recording. The system includes next-generation electrical interference shielding for optimal performance in newer vehicles with high-noise electrical systems, including active suspension. It can be combined with a radio kit for car-to-car communication.
