MIA's Description

The Rugged Radios AUDIO-CHOKE-5MM is a clamp-on RF noise reducer designed to eliminate audible interference caused by high-frequency radio waves (RFI). This ferrite filter is compatible with most cables and is suggested for use on radio and intercom power cables, speaker wires, microphone cables, and headset cables.

To use, simply clamp the ferrite material onto your cables. It is recommended to use two clamps per cable, positioned approximately three inches from each end. This model is the large size, designed for cables up to 5mm in diameter.
