The Rugged Ridge Cold Air Intake System for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models enhances horsepower, throttle response, and acceleration. This system features a polished aluminum mandrel-bent 6063 intake tube, replacing the restrictive factory air box for improved fuel economy and performance (up to 10% gain). A black powder-coated heat shield isolates the high-flow conical dry air filter from engine heat, dirt, and debris. The dry panel filter design eliminates the need for oiling, protecting the air flow sensor. Installation is a simple, no-drill bolt-on process taking approximately 1+ hour. This product is 50-state legal but is NOT compatible with vehicles equipped with air conditioning.
