Engineered to protect the most vulnerable areas of a Jeep's underside, the Rugged Ridge Skid Plates shield eight major exposed mechanical components: steering, differentials, transfer case, engine, transmission, suspension arms, air conditioning and muffler. A simple bolt-on installation, the skid plates are an easy way to help prevent expensive damage from off-road obstacles. Each skid plate is constructed of 3/17-inch heavy-duty steel and comes standard with both a durable black powder coat and rust-resistant E-coating. The frame mount design utilizes existing factory bolt holes and incorporates special gussets and fully-welded brackets, making them tough enough to withstand anything on the trail. This particular skid plate offers heavy duty protection for your transfer case.

Custom designed to protect the steering components on all 2007-2016 Jeep Wranglers, this overbuilt skid plate is a must for those off road adventures. Constructed of durable 1/4 in. powder coated steel with a rust resistant E-Coating, this Skid Plate is designed to take whatever the trail throws at you! Designed to fit with all Rugged Ridge front bumpers (looks amazing with the XHD Bumper system!) or all factory front bumpers, this skid plate provides protection for all front steering components including the very expensive electric sway bar disconnect system found on Rubicon models. Easy to install frame mount design incorporates special gussets and welded brackets to ensure long life and great off road performance. Grinding, drilling and cutting may be required.
