With a design focused on versatility, it provides superior traction over dirt, rocks, sand, and mud. The tire features massive side lugs that extend onto the sidewall to provide additional biting edges, while the high void ratio between the tread blocks ensures efficient clearing of debris. Technically, this tire utilizes a 3-ply polyester sidewall construction specifically built to resist punctures in harsh environments. This model (LT40x15.5R20) offers a 21/32-inch tread depth, a load capacity of 4190 lbs at 50 PSI, and a 130 load rating. It is designed for use on 11.0" to 13.0" rim widths. Users can also select between two different sidewall aesthetic patterns to suit their vehicle's look. Installation of this tire may require modifications to your vehicle, such as trimming or cutting, to prevent tire rubbing or to ensure adequate turning radius. Because these are off-road performance tires that differ from original factory equipment, speedometer and odometer recalibration is recommended after installation to maintain gauge accuracy and proper transmission shift points.
