The POR-15 45008 is a high-performance rust preventive coating designed for direct application on rusted or seasoned metal surfaces. It forms a non-porous, completely waterproof, and chemical-resistant finish that seals and protects against corrosion. This coating is formulated to adapt to temperature changes without cracking, chipping, or peeling.

This liquid coating provides superior chemical and abrasion resistance, exceeding 2000 hours in salt spray tests. It is self-leveling when applied with a brush and dries faster in humid conditions. The finish is gloss black, and it comes in a 1-pint can. This product is also OSHA compliant and carries a California Proposition 65 warning for cancer.
