The Heng's 5131 Non-Trimmable Butyl Sealing Tape is an essential material engineered for the demanding sealing needs of recreational vehicles (RVs). This butyl tape features excellent adhesion properties, forming a non-drying, tacky barrier that conforms to irregular surfaces for a secure fit. Its inherent flexibility and longevity allow it to maintain elasticity and sealing effectiveness over many years. Application of the Heng's 5131 tape is straightforward, as it can be applied directly from the roll, facilitating quick and efficient installation. Common uses include sealing around RV windows, doors, and roof vents, as well as securing metal siding seams. The tape's tackiness ensures an immediate bond, providing instant protection against water and air ingress. It is also non-toxic, eliminating the need for specialized safety equipment during use. The tape measures 3/4" wide, 1/8" thick, and comes in a 30-foot roll.
