RX1 Coil-Over Kit

The TEIN RX1 coilover kit is engineered to provide adjustable ride comfort and handling characteristics. This system features 16 levels of damping force adjustment, which allows for simultaneous modification of both compression and rebound settings. Users can fine-tune their vehicle's suspension to match personal preferences or driving conditions using the accessible adjustment dial. For certain applications, TEIN provides pillow ball upper mounts on front strut suspensions, which enable camber angle adjustment. This adjustment alters the tire's contact patch during cornering, optimizing grip. The kit also utilizes a twin-tube system for a smoother ride, especially over rough terrain, and incorporates a Hydraulic Bump Stopper (H.B.S.) to absorb impact and prevent bouncing. Durability is a key aspect of the RX1 series, with springs constructed from SAE9254 steel, known for their sag-proof quality and stable performance. These springs are finished with a durable, rust-protective powder coating. The dampers use high-performance oil that maintains stable viscosity across a wide temperature range, ensuring consistent damping force and resistance to cavitation and deterioration. Furthermore, TEIN's unique ZTP Coating surface treatment and TEIN-Green powder coat offer superior abrasion resistance and corrosion protection, backed by extensive testing and a strong record of reliability. For enhanced convenience, the RX1 coilovers are compatible with TEIN's EDFC Series (Electronic Damping Force Controller), allowing for damping force adjustment directly from the driver's seat. This optional system offers features like individual wheel control and various reactive adjustments for a more dynamic driving experience. However, it's important to note that some vehicle models may not be compatible with the EDFC system.
