RX8 LSx Engine Swap Kit

The V8R RX8 LSx Engine Swap Kit is engineered to bring the desirable handling characteristics of the Mazda RX8 together with the power and reliability of a late-model LSx series engine. This comprehensive kit aims to solve the common issues associated with the RX8's stock engine, providing a robust solution for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance. The electric steering rack is replaced with a hydraulic Mazda MX5 version, contributing to a 35lb front-end weight reduction while integrating with the GM pump. For the transmission, CNC-profiled uni-body supports strengthen and provide mounting points for the cross member, which is designed to accommodate a 3" dual exhaust. The kit is finished with a durable dark gray gloss powder coat and includes all necessary grade 8 zinc-finished hardware. Engine compatibility extends to any 3rd or 4th gen LSx (excluding the LS7), with CTSV accessories recommended. F-body accessories can be used but may require more effort for fitment. The TR-6060 transmission can be mounted, however, the shifter will not align without custom modification. The kit replaces the stock PPF and utilizes a Ford 8.8 differential with the included driveline kit. All stock RX-8 front suspension parts are reused, with the exception of the steering rack, which is sourced from an NC MX5 (2006-2015). Mounting kits are built to order, and current lead times should be confirmed with V8R.
