The Kohler RXT 100-Amp Indoor Automatic Transfer Switch serves as the intelligent control center for your home generator system. It continuously monitors the incoming utility power. In the event of a power outage, the ATS automatically and seamlessly transfers the electrical load from your utility provider to your Kohler generator. Once utility power is restored, the ATS reverses the process, returning power to the utility grid and shutting down your generator. This specific model is designed for exclusive use with Kohler generator sets equipped with RDC2 or DC2 generator set/transfer switch controls. It's a standard 100 AMP, single-phase unit, featuring two single-phase poles and rated for 240-volts. The integrated 16-circuit load center offers flexibility, allowing for the connection of up to 8 tandem breakers to accommodate a total of 24 circuits. This ATS is suitable for indoor installation, enclosed within a NEMA 1R steel casing that provides protection against dust and debris. All KOHLER automatic transfer switches are backed by a five-year/2000-hour limited warranty.
