Easy Start cams reduce cranking compression, only during starting. Designed by S&S to overcome the sometimes troublesome starting of big inch, high compression engines. Only 551, 570, 583, 585, HP103 and MR103 cams are bolt-in, all others may/will require clearance and require high lift valve springs. Chain Drive camshafts, complete kit. NOTE: Not compatible with kick start models. NOTE: Camshafts made before January 2010 will require adjustable pushrods. NOTE: Below 900 RPM you may hear a clicking sound. Adjust idle speed to 1000-1100 RPM. NOTE: Not to be used with S&S 79cc heads. Application Recommendations: Bolt-in for stock 103" engines with stock 9.7:1 CR up to 10.5:1 CR.
