Description

This S&S Cycle 883-1200 Conversion Piston Kit transforms 883cc or 1100cc Harley-Davidson Sportster engines to 1200cc. It includes forged pistons, rings, wrist pins, and clips, providing a 9.5:1 compression ratio with stock heads. For 1985-2003 models, boring stock 3-inch cylinders to 3.5-inch is required. For 2004+ 883 XL models, new 3.5-inch bore cylinders are recommended due to thinner stock liners. The pistons feature coated skirts for reduced friction during break-in, and the kit simplifies the conversion by not requiring engine removal or crankcase splitting.
