Description

The S&S Cycle 310-1262A Chain Drive Cam Chest Kit upgrades Twin Cam or M8 engines with an enhanced cam plate, oil pump, tappets, cuffs, and pushrods, allowing the use of any preferred cam. The oil pump and cam plate are precision-machined from billet aluminum, featuring independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, debris screens, and a magnet to prevent debris. It offers a 44% oil flow increase on the supply side and 58% on the scavenge side. The pressure relief valve is adjustable in-engine, and chain drive kits include an S&S High Performance cam chain tensioner (330-0737).
