S&S Cycle 36-84 BT 3-5/8in Piston Set - .060in

This S&S Forged 3-5/8 Inch Big Bore Piston Kit (+.060 Inch Size) is designed for 1936-1984 OHV Big Twin Models. It fits all 3-5/8" Big Bore 36-84 B.T. Models with 4-1/4" to 5" stroke flywheels with an 8-1/2" flywheel diameter. Note that 4-3/4" & 5" strokes require 8-1/4" small diameter flywheels in combination with the appropriate cylinder length. The pistons feature an advanced alloy and piston skirt profile for low noise and long engine life. Piston dome volume is 30cc, and piston deck height is 1.260". The kit includes wrist pins, wrist pin clips, and piston rings. For a higher compression ratio, S&S advises shortening the cylinders, where shortening cylinders by .060" will produce approximately a 1 point increase in compression ratio. It is compatible with Harley-Davidson Knucklehead (1936-1947), Panhead (1948-1965), and Shovelhead (1966-1984) engines.
