Description

This S&S Cycle 106-5503 piston kit features 9:1 high (57cc dome) compression ratio forged pistons with an advanced alloy and skirt profiles for 1941-1978 1200cc (74 cubic inch) Harley Davidson Knucklehead, Panhead, and Shovelhead Big Twin models. The kit includes pistons, rings, wrist pins, and clips, designed for a 3-7/16 inch bore with a stock 3-31/32 inch stroke. S&S recommends a close fit of .0030" to .0035" and a loose fit of .004" to .005".
