MIA's Description

The S&S Cycle 551 Easy Start Cam Kit is designed for Harley Twin Cam engines from 1999-2006. This cam kit features a centrifugally retracted, spring-loaded compression release lobe milled into the heel of each exhaust lobe. This lobe bumps the exhaust valve open slightly during the compression stroke at cranking speeds, making the engine easier to turn over, and retracts at approximately 800 RPM for normal running with full compression.
