S&S Cycle 70-77 BT Oil Pump Kit w/ Gears & Shims

The S&S Cycle 31-6294 Oil Pump Kit with Gears and Shims is designed to improve the oiling system of 1970-1977 Harley-Davidson Big Twin engines. It features oil supply and return gears that are the same width as the stock HD® aluminum pump, and S&S® pinion and oil pump drive shaft drive gears that increase potential oil volume delivery by 25% over stock for 1972 and earlier engines. The kit includes the complete oil pump assembly, mounting hardware, fittings, gaskets, instructions, pinion shaft pump drive gear, oil pump drive shaft gear, and breather gear. Its oil pressure relief bleed off passageway maintains consistent oil pressure, and an oil pressure regulation bypass reduces foaming and cavitation. This product is ideal for overhauling older engines or for use in scratch-built applications with aftermarket crankcases.
