S&S .583 inch lift cam is optimized for use in the Softail (R) Dyna (R) lines. This cam makes horsepower and torque that you can feel all the way through the rpm range, making the most power right where you need it: 1500-5000 rpm.This cam is greatly improves valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain E590lash and Easy Start Cams allow stock starter to start any engine.

The S&S Cycle 106-5859 Easy Start Cam Kit is designed for Twin Cam engines, making starting easier regardless of engine displacement or compression. It reduces strain on the starter and battery by temporarily lowering compression, then restores full compression once the engine is running. This kit is suitable for 88/95/96/103 cubic-inch engines with compression ratios below 10:1.
