S&S 640GE Gear Drive Easy Start Cams greatly improves valve timing accuracy by eliminating timing chain lash and allow stock starter to start any engine. The 640 cam is designed for engines of 95 inch or more with compression ratios between 10.5:1 and 11.5:1 used in S&S 124 inch engines.

The S&S Cycle Easy Start Cam Kit enables easy starting of any engine, regardless of displacement or compression, using a stock starter. It reduces crank compression during starting; once the engine starts and RPM increases, the compression release lobe retracts, allowing full compression and no performance loss. This gear drive kit includes a 4-gear set and installation kit. Made in the U.S.A.
