S Series Single Disc Clutch Kit

The Monster Clutch S Series Single Disc Clutch Kit is engineered as a significant upgrade for 1998-2002 GM F-Body Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am models. This clutch is designed to handle up to 550 RWHP/RWTQ, making it a robust choice for drivers seeking improved performance for street, drag, and road racing applications. Constructed with an Extreme Duty pressure plate and a 12″ segmented Kevlar™ friction disc, this kit offers a balance of durability and streetable manners. It also includes a 28lbs billet steel flywheel, pilot bearing, and alignment tool in its base package. All units are precision balanced to less than 0.100 OZ/IN for smooth operation. While highly capable for spirited street driving and occasional track use, this clutch is not recommended for extreme racing applications, particularly those involving nitrous or turbocharger setups due to potential torque spikes. It is also not recommended for drifting applications, where more aggressive clutch units are advised. Proper installation and break-in procedures are crucial to achieve factory-smooth operation, stock pedal effort, and engagement feel. Use of an aftermarket master cylinder may alter pedal effort and engagement. This clutch kit is specifically designed for 1998-2002 F-Body vehicles and is compatible with stock, bolt-on, stroker, and supercharger modifications. It is not recommended for setups utilizing nitrous or turbochargers.
