The Monster Clutch Co. S Series Twin Disc Clutch is a high-performance clutch assembly specifically designed for the Chevrolet Corvette C6, model years 2005-2013. This clutch is built with a carbon organic based material for its discs and includes a 24lb billet steel flywheel. It is engineered to support a power range from stock up to 700 RWHP/RWTQ. The S Series is versatile, suitable for street driving, drag racing, and road racing applications. Key characteristics include "No Chatter" and "Stock Pedal Effort," ensuring a comfortable driving experience. It is compatible with various modifications including Nitrous, Superchargers, Turbochargers, Stroker engines, and Bolt-ons. The unit utilizes a factory GM LT1 based pressure plate setup, modified for increased performance while maintaining factory pedal feel. It is designed for clean release up to 8000 rpm with GM factory-based hydraulics. While capable of handling significant abuse, this clutch is not recommended for drifting due to the demands it places on full-faced frictions. For all other intended uses within its power rating, it is highly recommended. The clutch provides long life, great performance, and factory driving characteristics, making it suitable for daily driving, drag strip runs (with recorded 9-second passes), and track events.
