The Borla S-Type 140838 cat-back exhaust system is engineered for C8 Corvette Stingray owners seeking an enhanced exhaust note while retaining street-friendly acoustics. Borla employs its SwitchFire® technology and Polyphonic Harmonizer to refine the sound, resulting in a cleaner, richer character. The system is constructed from durable T-304 stainless steel and includes heat shielding for optimal performance and longevity. It features quad 4-inch round bright chrome rolled angle-cut tips, providing a distinct visual upgrade at the rear of the vehicle. Installation is a direct bolt-on process utilizing factory mounting points, though professional installation is recommended. The system is designed for 2020–2026 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray models equipped with the 6.2L LT2 engine and the factory NPP (dual-mode) exhaust. It is also compatible with C8 Stingray automatic (DCT) transmissions. Importantly, this system is not compatible with vehicles that do not have the original equipment (O.E.) NPP exhaust.
