Description

The Borla S-Type True Dual Cat-Back Exhaust System is engineered for the 2003-2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan models equipped with the 3.5L V6 engine, compatible with both automatic and manual transmissions. This system is crafted from premium, aircraft-quality T304 stainless steel, ensuring superior durability and corrosion resistance. The system features a dual rear exit, with each side boasting a 4" Borla-embossed, single round, rolled-edge, angle-cut tip. The internal components include two 2.25" inlet pipes leading to 19" long mufflers, followed by two 2.25" pipes connecting to 16" long resonator mufflers, and two 2.25" over-axle pipes leading to a final rear muffler. Borla states this configuration increases flow by up to 428.3 cfm compared to the factory exhaust, potentially adding up to 14 horsepower and 11 ft-lbs of torque, while reducing overall system weight by 23 lbs. A review notes that the system fits perfectly and includes all necessary hardware. However, it also points out that the 2.25" piping may be restrictive for heavily boosted applications, suggesting a 2.5" piping system for such builds.
