S1 Coil-Over System

The Solo Werks S1 Coilover System is a premium, entry-level coilover suspension designed to enhance the stance and handling of your Mk2 and Mk3 Volkswagen models, including Corrado and Passat 2WD vehicles produced between 1985 and 1999. This system provides a substantial lowering capability, with adjustable ranges of 45-85mm (1.7-3.3 inches) for both the front and rear suspensions. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the S1 Coilover System boasts heavy gold zinc plated housings, which have undergone 500-hour salt spray testing for superior corrosion resistance. The twin-tube shock design is gas-charged and features fixed dampening with independent valves, tuned specifically for each application. The piston rods are hardened chrome for a mirror finish, and the system includes elastomer bumpstops made from micro-cell poly for a progressive rate and long lifespan. The rear perches are height-adjustable with a dual lock ring design and come with anodized black aluminum components and spanner wrenches. The kit includes all necessary components for installation: two front threaded coilover dampers with springs and helper springs, two rear threaded coilover dampers with adjustable spring perches and springs with helper springs, two spanner wrenches, step-by-step installation instructions, and a 1oz bottle of Boeshield T-9 lubricant. It's important to note that while the lowering ranges are approximate and may vary, and wheel spacers might be necessary depending on wheel specifics, this kit will not retain OEM Electronic Dampening Systems.
