S1 Coilover Suspension System

The Solo-Werks S1 Coilover System is a premium, entry-level suspension upgrade for MKV and MKVI Volkswagen and Audi platforms featuring torsion beam rear suspension. Constructed with durability in mind, the S1 coilovers feature heavy gold zinc-plated housings that have undergone 500-hour salt spray testing for superior corrosion resistance. The front dampers are threaded for a lowering range of 1.4-2.5 inches (35-65mm), while the rear adjustable perches allow for a lowering range of 1.4-2.75 inches (35-70mm). The rear perches are crafted from anodized black aluminum and feature a double lock ring design for secure adjustment. The piston rods are hardened chrome for durability and a mirror finish. Each complete kit contains everything needed for installation, including two front threaded coilover dampers, front main springs with helper springs, two rear dampers, two rear adjustable spring perches, two rear springs, sway bar end links, spanner wrenches for adjustment, and detailed step-by-step installation instructions. A 1oz bottle of Boeshield T-9 lubricant/protectant is also included to aid in installation and maintenance. Fitment is specific to vehicles equipped with torsion beam rear suspension. Vehicles that may utilize this kit include the Volkswagen Beetle (2011 and newer) and certain MKVI Jetta models. Note that this kit will not retain OEM electronic dampening systems, and depending on wheel specifics, wheel spacers may be required. The lowering ranges provided are approximate and can vary based on vehicle mileage, condition, and options.
