S1 Coilover System

The Solo Werks S1 Coilover System is engineered as a premium, entry-level coilover suspension solution for MK V and Mk VI platforms manufactured between 2005 and 2015, specifically for vehicles equipped with rear multi-link suspension. This system provides significant adjustability, allowing for a lowering range of 35-65mm (1.4-2.5 inches) in the front and 35-70mm (1.4-2.75 inches) in the rear. The coilovers feature heavy gold zinc-plated housings designed for superb corrosion resistance, having undergone 500-hour salt spray testing. The twin-tube shock design utilizes gas charging and fixed dampening with independent valves for application-specific tuning. High-tensile chrome silicon wire springs are employed for their lightweight properties, increased travel, and powdercoated finish. Additionally, hardened chrome piston rods and elastomer bumpstops ensure durability and a long lifespan. The rear adjustable spring perches feature a dual lock ring design with anodized black aluminum, and include spanner wrenches for adjustment. Each kit includes two front threaded coilover dampers with main and helper springs, two rear dampers with adjustable spring perches and springs, spanner wrenches, step-by-step installation instructions, and a 1oz bottle of Boeshield T-9 Lubricant/Protectant. It's important to note that all lowering ranges are approximate and can vary based on vehicle mileage, condition, and options. Wheel spacers may be required depending on the specific wheel being used. Crucially, all Solo Werks S1 Coilover Systems will not retain the OEM Electronic Dampening Systems.
