S1 Coilover System

The Solo Werks S1 Coilover System is a premium, entry-level coilover suspension designed for the MK VII Jetta, offering a balance of performance and affordability. This system utilizes a twin-tube shock design that is gas-charged with fixed dampening and independently valved for application-specific tuning. Constructed with heavy gold zinc-plated housings, these coilovers provide excellent corrosion resistance, having undergone 500-hour salt spray testing. The system features innovative D-shaped threads on the adjustment perches, which simplify height adjustments and offer greater resistance to debris intrusion. The piston rods are hardened chrome for a mirror-finished, durable surface, and elastomer bumpstops are included to ensure a long lifespan. Rear perches are height-adjustable using anodized black aluminum perches and supplied spanner wrenches. The Solo Werks S1 Coilover System is designed to provide a lowering range of approximately 35-65mm (1.4-2.6 inches) in the front and 35-70mm (1.4-2.75 inches) in the rear. Please note that all lowering ranges are approximate and can vary based on vehicle mileage, condition, and specific options. The kit includes front and rear threaded coilover dampers, progressive springs, adjustable rear spring perches, and spanner wrenches, along with step-by-step installation instructions. The manufacturer offers a 3-Year Limited Warranty covering construction and component defects. Important note: This kit will not retain OEM Electronic Dampening Systems. Additionally, depending on wheel specifics, wheel spacers may be required.
