S1 Coilover System

The Solo Werks S1 Coilover System is engineered as a premium, entry-level coilover suspension solution for specific Audi and Volkswagen Quattro and Wagon models. This system aims to provide enhanced handling and adjustability, featuring heavy gold zinc plated housings for exceptional corrosion resistance tested to 500 hours of salt spray, and a twin-tube shock design with gas charging and app-specific tuning for consistent performance. The rear perches are height-adjustable with a dual lock ring design, crafted from anodized black aluminum. The kit offers a lowering range of 35-65mm (1.4-2.5 inches) in the front and 35-70mm (1.4-2.75 inches) in the rear, though actual lowering can vary based on vehicle condition and options. Additionally, wheel spacers may be required depending on specific wheel and tire fitment. Important fitment notes apply: the S1 Systems are not compatible with the Audi Drive Select system (AKA ADS), and while they will install and function, the ADS system will trigger an error code. For vehicles equipped with Adaptive Air Suspension, installation may be possible with additional OEM components, and further consultation is recommended. This kit does not retain OEM Electronic Dampening Systems.
