S1 Coilover System R3

The Solo Werks S1 Coilover System R3 provides an upgrade to your Volkswagen Tiguan's stance and handling, delivering improved ride control, adjustable height, and long-term durability while maintaining everyday comfort. Constructed with heavy gold zinc-plated housings for excellent corrosion resistance (500-hour salt spray tested), these coilovers utilize high-tensile chrome silicon wire springs for reduced weight and improved travel, and hardened chrome piston rods with a mirror finish for durability. The D-shaped thread design facilitates easier height adjustment and offers greater resistance to debris, while the twin-tube shock design is low-pressure gas charged with fixed damping and application-specific tuning. This kit is specifically designed for the 2018+ Volkswagen Tiguan (MQB platform) featuring 55mm front strut housings and independent rear suspension. It is compatible with both FWD and AWD (4Motion) models. Importantly, this system is not compatible with torsion beam rear suspension models and does not retain factory electronic damping systems. A pre-purchase verification of the front strut diameter (55mm) is recommended. Depending on your specific wheel and tire setup, wheel spacers may be required. The system includes front threaded coilover dampers, front progressive springs, rear dampers, rear adjustable spring perches, rear springs, spanner wrenches, and installation instructions.
