S13 to JZ Motor Mount Brackets

The Xcessive S13 to JZ Motor Mount Brackets are an affordable solution for simplifying JZ engine swaps into S chassis vehicles. Constructed from formed steel, these brackets are built to last and are backed by a lifetime warranty. The slotted design of these mounts facilitates an easier installation, especially when paired with Xcessive's transmission cross member and one-piece driveshaft. Urethane motor mounts and a power steering line can further enhance this package, creating a robust setup capable of handling significant abuse. Installation of the JZ engine into the S chassis with a front sump oil pan configuration is generally straightforward, though the larger front sump of the JZ will interfere with the stock sway bar. Users will need to either use sway bar spacers, a custom sway bar, or remove the sway bar entirely. Twin turbo engines may require minor modifications to the firewall to accommodate the rear turbo, and placing the engine further forward can reduce space between the engine and radiator. For 2JZ engines, which are slightly taller than the 1JZ, a lower motor mount is often beneficial for hood clearance. Xcessive offers a lower-profile urethane motor mount (part number UH-UMM-S15) to aid in 2JZ fitment. The 1JZ generally does not present hood clearance issues with stock hoods when using standard S chassis mounts.
