The Shirokai 2005-2009 Mustang S197 Widebody Kit provides a dramatic visual transformation, engineered to give your first-generation S197 Mustang GT or V6 a significantly wider stance and more aggressive presence. This kit is meticulously CAD-engineered using platform-specific 3D scan data to ensure cleaner fitment and better proportions, while still complementing the factory body lines. Made from durable automotive-grade ABS plastic, it offers a robust alternative to fiberglass. This comprehensive 8-piece kit includes front fender flares (+3.54 in / 9 cm per side), rear fender flares (+4.72 in / 12 cm per side), side skirts, bumper endings, a front lip spoiler, and a ducktail spoiler. The total added width across both axles is 240 mm, providing ample clearance for aggressive wheel and tire setups, typically accommodating sizes like 18x10 or 19x10 with 275-285mm tires up front and 18x11 or 19x11 with 295-315mm tires in the rear. Installation is designed as a bolt-on process with the included hardware, though it requires drilling and the use of rivnuts for secure mounting. Professional installation at a body shop is recommended, with an estimated time of 12–16 hours. This kit is not compatible with 2010–2014 S197 Mustangs or S550 models, which require different dedicated kits.
