The Alpine S2-W10D2 is a 10-inch subwoofer from the Next-Generation S-Series, redesigned for powerful and reliable bass performance. It features a carbon fiber and polypropylene cone for deep, low-distortion bass. The subwoofer is equipped with Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) Surround Technology for improved accuracy and a dual voice coil (DVC) design for flexible installation.

The Alpine S2-W10D2 is a Next-Generation 10" S-Series subwoofer engineered to deliver powerful and reliable bass performance at an approachable price point. This subwoofer features a lightweight yet sturdy carbon fiber and polypropylene cone, which contributes to deep, low-distortion bass. The cone is paired with a poly propylene/ceramic dust cap and uses high-grade strontium ferrite magnets. The High Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) Surround Technology allows for 15mm of one-way excursion, ensuring incredible accuracy. The cone's structure includes a Kevlar reinforced pulp cone with a HAMR Santoprene rubber surround. Installation is made easier with the Dual Voice Coil (DVC) design, which includes configuration jumpers. A new twist-lock grille mounting system allows for easy installation and removal of an optional grille without screws, providing cone protection. The speaker terminals are push-type and can accommodate up to 8AWG wire size. With a power handling of 600W RMS and a peak power handling of 1800W, the S2-W10D2 boasts a wide frequency response range of 25Hz to 215Hz (though other sources list 28Hz-200Hz or 26Hz-200Hz) and a sensitivity of 84.7dB (1W/1M). It is designed for optimal sound quality and performance, especially when paired with Alpine's S-Series amplifiers, such as the S2-A60M or S2-A120M.
