S257 SX-E Turbocharger Core Assembly

The Borg Warner S257 SX-E (also known as 57/61 or 57-61 SX-E) is a performance turbocharger super core assembly engineered for both diesel and gasoline high-performance applications. This unit provides approximately 65 lbs/min of airflow, supporting around 625 horsepower. Key features include a compressor cover with an integrated speed sensor port and a pre-machined boost port, facilitating monitoring and tuning flexibility. It utilizes forged milled (billet) compressor wheels with extended tip technology for optimized aerodynamic performance. The compressor housing features a 3.5-inch inlet and a 2-inch outlet with a port shroud for map width enhancement, and it comes pre-tapped for speed sensor and pressure ports. The compressor wheel itself has a 57.15mm inducer and a 76.2mm exducer. The turbine section is equipped with a 61mm exducer and a 70mm inducer turbine wheel. A wide range of T3 and T4 turbine housings are available separately, including open and twin scroll configurations with various A/R ratios and outlet options (4-bolt, 3" V-band, or 3.5" V-band). AGP also offers custom-engineered T4 divided housings for the S200 series, providing a proper T4 volute size. The bearing housing is not water-cooled and requires a 1/4" NPT oil inlet with a standard T3-T4 oil drain featuring M8x1.25 threads. Lines, fittings, flanges, and gaskets are available separately. Note that the speed sensor, turbine outlet V-band, drain port fitting, and turbine housing are not included with the supercore assembly.
