S300 ECU Programmer

The Hondata S300 is an advanced engine management system designed to fit inside compatible OBD1 Honda/Acura ECUs. It offers superior tunability with features like expanded fuel and ignition tables, launch control with anti-lag, full-throttle shifting, and engine protection from overboost. The V3 system adds new capabilities such as ethanol content sensor support for direct connection, Bluetooth for wireless datalogging and programming from laptops or mobile devices, and significantly faster datalogging speeds compared to previous versions. It also includes CAN support and serial output for integration with external dashboards like the AiM MXL and Racepak IQ3. Installation requires modification to the ECU, including cutting a slot for the USB connector and using different connecting pins than a standard chipped ECU. The S300 is designed for US market full-frame ECU cases and will not fit JDM square case ECUs; for those, the Hondata S300J is required. Professional installation is strongly recommended due to the complexity and risk of damaging the ECU. It is compatible with specific OBD1 USDM ECUs including P05, P06, PR4, P28, P30, P61, P72, and P75. Key features include real-time ECU updates, built-in datalogging to a laptop via USB, onboard datalogging memory, and adjustments for different injector sizes. It is configurable for various MAP sensors and supports TPS-based table lookup for individual throttle bodies. The system also offers dual tables for different octane calibrations and two analog inputs for wideband O2 sensors or EGTs.
