S300 V3 Engine Control Unit Module

The Hondata S300 V3 is a sophisticated engine control unit (ECU) module designed to enhance the tuning capabilities of factory Honda/Acura OBD1 engine computers. This 'white board' system fits directly inside the ECU, offering advanced tunability and support for forced induction setups. It is Made in the USA and utilizes a high-speed USB connection for both programming calibrations and datalogging, eliminating the need for older serial connectors. Key features of the S300 V3 include Bluetooth connectivity for wireless datalogging and programming via a mobile app (iOS and Android), as well as direct support for ethanol content sensors. It offers significantly faster datalogging compared to previous versions and includes CAN support. The unit also features serial output for integration with dashboards like AiM MXL and Racepak IQ3. Expanded fuel and ignition tables are available, supporting up to 60 lbs of boost and 11,000 RPM. It also includes launch control with anti-lag, full throttle shift capability, three multi-purpose outputs for functions like nitrous control, and a PWM output for boost control. Two analog inputs are provided for wideband O2 sensors or EGTs. Installation of the S300 V3 requires modification to the ECU, including different connecting pins and a slot for the USB connector. Hondata strongly recommends professional installation due to the complexity, especially if the ECU has been previously socketed, as there is a risk of damaging the ECU. The SManager software must be installed before connecting the ECU, and drivers need to be installed for USB communication. A base calibration must be uploaded into the ECU after installation. The S300 V3 system is compatible with the following OBD1 USDM ECUs: P05, P06, PR4, P28, P30, P61, P72, and P75. It is important to note that it does not fit JDM ECU cases. Users with a 1997 Integra GSR and a stock ECU will require an OBD2A to OBD1 jumper harness and an OBD1/S300 ECU package.
