The Zumbrota Drivetrain S5-42 is a manual transmission designed for Ford 1992-1995 F-Series trucks with a 7.3L engine and 2WD. This 5-speed transmission features a PTO that is being used and has a gear ratio range of 4.14 low to 0.77 high. It also includes an electronic speedometer.

This remanufactured transmission undergoes three quality inspections during its build process. A pre-inspection checks for case cracks and excessive wear, a second inspection verifies component parts meet OEM specifications, and a final inspection ensures it meets Zumbrota's strict standards. Internal parts, including gear wear and synchronizers, are 100% inspected, and all transmissions are dynometer tested.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain S5-42 is a remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission specifically built for 1992-1995 Ford F-Series trucks equipped with the 7.3L diesel engine and 2WD configuration. It features an electronic speedometer and boasts a gear ratio of 4.14 in low gear for enhanced pulling power and 0.77 in high gear for efficient highway cruising. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes rigorous quality control throughout their remanufacturing process. Each unit receives a pre-inspection to identify and address OEM-related issues like case cracks or excessive wear. During the remanufacturing phase, a second inspection ensures all internal components meet or exceed OEM specifications.
