S55 JB4 Performance Tuner

The Burger Motorsports S55 JB4 is a plug-and-play performance tuner engineered for the S55 engine found in select BMW M2 Competition, M3, and M4 models from 2015-2022. This sophisticated unit connects between your car's sensors and its DME/ECU, allowing it to safely and smoothly manipulate boost, timing, AFR, and fuel trims for substantial power increases without altering the factory ECU. It features a billet aluminum enclosure and comes with a 5-year warranty. This tuner delivers impressive performance gains, with up to 80whp and 100tq on pump gas, and up to 120whp and 140tq when using higher octane fuels or E85 mixtures. Installation is plug-and-play with no splicing or cutting of factory wires required. The JB4 includes multiple tuning maps for different fuel types and driving conditions, user-adjustable boost limiting for 1st and 2nd gear, and full CANbus integration. It also offers advanced features like reading and deleting fault codes, displaying and logging up to 40 engine parameters, and controlling exhaust flap operation on supported vehicles. New to this version is the included JB4PRO adapter and free app, enabling wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 4.0 to iOS or Android devices. This allows for real-time data recording and analysis, map switching, and firmware updates. The JB4PRO app provides an intuitive interface with help buttons and advanced log analysis tools to estimate performance and identify tuning concerns. The system is not VIN-locked and is fully reversible, ensuring no impact on fuel economy during normal driving and retaining all factory safety systems.
