S55 Stage 2+ Turbocharger

The CTS Turbo Stage 2+ aka the “RS” turbocharger set is engineered specifically for the BMW S55 platform, building on previous successes with new technology to optimize performance and maintain factory fitment. Our engineers used transient flow analysis and flow bench testing to optimize the turbine housing. This turbocharger maintains stock fitment, stock location, and uses the stock wastegates, allowing for compatibility with any stock fitment downpipes, intakes, and charge pipes. This kit features complete, brand-new turbochargers and large inlet pipes, eliminating the need for core returns or purchases. Each turbocharger is VSR balanced to exceed OE tolerances, featuring upgraded heavy-duty bearings and thrust washers. The Stage 2+ turbocharger boasts a billet 8-blade compressor wheel (47.4mm inducer, 58mm exducer with a 63.10mm extended tip design) and a 9-blade Mar-M 246 Superalloy turbine wheel (52mm inducer, 45.6mm exducer). The housings and wastegate components are constructed from 316 stainless steel. Fitment is for the 2015 – 2020 BMW M3 and BMW M4 with the S55 engine (F80, F82, F83), and the 2018 – 2021 BMW M2C and BMW M2CS with the S55 engine (F87). Installation requires new oil and oil filter, and new coolant. New gaskets and hardware are recommended and available from your local BMW dealer. Installation and tuning must be performed by a qualified professional. Factory wastegate actuators must be transferred and calibrated using ISTA+ software before tuning.
