The ESS Tuning S550 GT 5.0 supercharger system represents a significant advancement in forced induction technology, built upon over 25 years of expertise. At its heart is the G3 supercharger unit, boasting a maximum capacity of 1600CFM and engineered for power outputs ranging from 650 to 950 wheel horsepower (WHP) in the Coyote application. The kit features a structurally engineered, high-pressure die-cast main bracket assembly (27mm thick) for maximum rigidity, a 6-rib belt drive system with billet idler pulleys and SKF bearings for longevity, and a 3.5" front mount intercooler (FMIC) designed for direct fitment without OEM bumper modification. It also incorporates an integrated 50mm blow-off valve. The complete system, weighing only 42lbs, is exceptionally light, making it suitable for racing applications where weight balance is critical. The system is supplied with everything needed for installation, excluding injectors and software; a PCV catch can setup is recommended for heavy-duty use. The standard configuration includes high-precision straight-cut gears, which produce a subtle whine. Quieter synchro gears are available as an optional upgrade. All ESS supercharger systems are extensively tested and come with a 1-year warranty against hardware malfunction or defect, regardless of mileage.
