S550 T-1 2nd Gen Mid-Mount Twin Turbo System

The On3 Performance 2nd Gen Mid-Mount Twin Turbo System is engineered for the S550 Mustang GT 5.0 chassis, offering a balance of performance, economy, and ease of installation. Key components include custom 304 stainless steel tubular turbo headers and dual 3.0" 304 stainless steel downpipes. The system utilizes oil-less turbochargers with V-banded inlet flanges for precise adjustment and secure mounting, directly flowing from a round pipe into a round housing to minimize turbulence and maximize horsepower. The kit is designed for minimal ground clearance issues, even with lowering springs, and features bead-rolled 6061 aluminum cold-side tubing with 5-ply silicone couplers and stainless t-bolt clamps for secure connections under boost. Boost control is managed by compact 44mm On 3 V-banded wastegates, configured out-of-the-box for approximately 6-7psi, capable of producing over 600rwhp on 93 octane. The system includes On3 Performance 50mm blow-off valve and a PTFE black braided water cooling kit for the turbos. The included intercooler is a 3.5" bar and plate design, rated for 1200HP, with an optional 5" upgrade available for higher horsepower builds. This twin turbo system has demonstrated significant power potential, with On 3 64mm turbos reaching 923hp at the wheel on 13psi with E85 on a stock engine and transmission. Upgrade options with 6766 or 6870 turbos are capable of 1700-1800hp. The base kit with 6466 turbos can support up to 1350 wheel hp. Drivability is maintained to feel like stock until wide-open throttle, with potential for daily driving and comparable fuel economy.
