S60 Helical Differential, 35 Spline

The Strange Engineering PRSF05 is a S60 complete rear end assembly, designed to enhance the drivetrain performance of 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaros, Pontiac Firebirds, and Pontiac Trans Ams. This unit features 35 spline alloy axles and a S-Trac helical gear differential for improved traction and durability. The differential is built with big Ford new style "Torino" housing ends and includes a .520 inch pinion offset to the passenger side, along with a 4 3/4 inch bolt circle for wheel mounting. This rear end comes professionally welded and assembled, and is crated to ensure protection during transit. It includes an S60 housing, 35 spline alloy axle package, choice of wheel stud kit, helical gear differential with a selectable gear ratio, an S-Series pinion yoke with U-bolts, and a Dana/Spicer steel cover. An extended sway bar link kit is also provided. Important considerations for installation include potential modifications needed for aftermarket torque arms and the necessity of replacing the stock driveshaft. Please note that this rear end will not accept factory drum or disc brakes, and custom brake solutions will be required. For optimal operation and to maintain warranty, it is crucial to use only petroleum-based 85W-140 gear oil and avoid synthetic gear oil.
