S7-Plus Standalone Engine Control Unit

The Syvecs S7-Plus Stand Alone ECU offers an exceptionally high level of precise engine management control. Its triple-processor architecture, featuring a high-speed RISC processor for code execution and a dedicated FPGA for high-speed engine position tracking, ensures that code scheduling is independent of signal patterns. This design enhances flexibility, efficiency, and accuracy, particularly under transient conditions. The S7-Plus facilitates advanced control algorithms while remaining user-friendly for mapping via its SCal software and S7 Firmware. Constructed within a sealed aluminum billet unit, the S7-Plus is equipped with three waterproof connectors, providing 94 pins. It boasts 22 general-purpose analog inputs, including specialized inputs for 5V/bipolar sensors, thermistors, and AF lambda sensors, as well as two knock and one K-type thermocouple input. The output side offers 30 high/low side driver outputs, comprising eight half-bridge outputs (max 10 Amps), sixteen low-side injection/PWM outputs (max 10 Amps), and six TTL/IGBT ignition drivers. It also includes a main relay control circuit with wake-on-CAN support. For communication, the ECU features three CAN 2.0B interfaces, an RS232 output, a Kline output, and a 100 MHz full-duplex Ethernet port for PC programming and data download. It includes 64MB of onboard logging memory, operates within a 6 to 20V input voltage range with reverse polarity protection, and provides three regulated 5V sensor supply outputs. The unit is designed to withstand extreme operating temperatures from -55 to +125°C and measures 185 x 145 x 55 mm.
