S7D-4 ECU

The Syvecs S7D-4 ECU is a high-performance engine management system engineered for modern direct injection (DI) engines that require up to eight DI channels. Its advanced triple-processor architecture, which includes a dedicated FPGA for ultra-high-speed engine position tracking, ensures exceptional accuracy, control, and responsiveness even under transient conditions like rapid load and RPM changes. It supports a wide range of control strategies, including direct injection (DI) and port injection (PI), a torque-based control architecture, advanced knock and traction control, and multiple sensor decoding capabilities. The S7D-4 facilitates live tuning of fuel, ignition, VVT, DBW, and torque through Syvecs' SCal software and S7 firmware, making it intuitive and flexible for calibration. Key features include advanced launch control with various modes, anti-lag strategies for diverse motorsport disciplines, closed-loop boost control, and comprehensive safety features like lean condition monitoring, knock-based safety, and EGT monitoring with shutdown strategies. For data logging, it offers 64 MB of onboard memory (expandable to 128 MB) with logging rates up to 1000 Hz, alongside simultaneous laptop logging and analysis tools like SView. The S7D-4 also supports motorsport expansion, including paddle-shift and sequential gearbox control, OBD-II functionality, GPS telemetry via the optional GPSBT module, and expandable I/O with Syvecs X10 or X20 modules. Its hardware comprises a sealed aluminum billet enclosure with four waterproof connectors, a 120-pin total I/O, an input voltage range of 6–20 V with reverse-polarity protection, and an operating temperature range of −55 °C to +125 °C. It features multiple communication interfaces, including 3 CAN buses with CAN FD support, LIN, RS232, and Ethernet for PC communication.
