The BMW Genuine Parts 33522282461 is an OEM rear shock absorber, manufactured by Sachs, an original equipment supplier to BMW. This component is specifically designed as a direct replacement to restore the original sport suspension ride and handling characteristics for E46 325i and 330i models equipped with the factory sport suspension (S226A). While this shock absorber is suitable for factory sport springs, it is not compatible with aftermarket lowering springs. The shock absorber is sold individually, but they should be replaced in pairs. It's important to note that new mounts, dust boots, and bump stops are sold separately and may be required for proper installation and performance. This part replaces the original BMW part number 33522282461 and meets all of BMW's original design, fitment, and performance requirements, holding TUV approval. It comes with a two-year warranty.
