Saddlebag Speaker Retrofit Kit

The Rockford Fosgate TMS69BL9813 is a 6x9-inch saddlebag speaker retrofit kit engineered to add rear audio capabilities to 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This kit is designed to integrate with existing OEM hardshell bag lids, utilizing a high-output mid-range and a 25mm high-efficiency tweeter to overcome road noise and provide clear audio at highway speeds. The speakers are Element Ready, featuring protection against dust, UV, temperature, water, corrosion, and vibration, and are built with an ultra-high temperature glass-reinforced polymer frame. The painted stamped steel grille with an ASA plastic frame offers UV protection, and the sandwich clamping gasket design ensures an environmental seal. Installation is facilitated by included custom cut-out templates and a two-piece mounting system. The kit includes a direct-connect wiring harness designed to integrate with specific Rockford Fosgate front audio kits (HD9813SG-STAGE2, HD9813SGU-STAGE2, HD9813RG-STAGE2, or HD9813RGU-STAGE2) that utilize the Power TM400X4ad 4-channel amplifier, which is sold separately. Important fitment considerations include: the kit is compatible only with factory Harley-Davidson ABS plastic bag lids and is not compatible with fiberglass lids. It may not be compatible with the H-D Power Lock Kit. Installation on CVO and Screaming Eagle models is not plug-and-play and will require modification. Tour-Pak speakers are not 100% plug-and-play compatible and may require contacting Rockford Fosgate support for a workaround. Stretched saddlebags are not optimized for kits with subwoofers and may require a suggested harness brace.
